Jungle Bus for a great rainforest experience. Positive: Everyone couldn't be nicer. I even screwed up and brought a 4x2 instead of a 4x4 and got stuck in a ditch and Monica who's the manager had her maintenance man Cesar take me out. Then Monica took my luggage up to the place. it's a beautiful location it's very quiet and there's plenty of wildlife around not only wild insects but plenty of birds including toucons giving me a symphony this morning and having two does whitetail deer going through the property very comfortable a very great design I will plan on coming back it's the place you can just do your own thing and be quiet outdoor shower just peace and tranquility. the air conditioning the fans everything the kitchen a good refrigerator everything worked fine and these folks that run the property are wonderful. if there were a thousand stars I would give them that on that. Negative: Really not a criticism more of a constructive a bunch of information but when you say you need a 4x4 you at least need to explain why if there's an extreme grade and without that you can't get up at that's great but many places will say you need a 4x4 just because it's a rough road. Ultimately that was my fault because I couldn't get a 4x4 and I thought I could get here with that one.

A fantastic and unique jungle experience with all mod cons, peace, tranquility, great views. Positive: The Jungle Bus was the highlight of our three week holiday in Costa Rica. The bus has recently been converted into a wonderful little house for two in the jungle just south of Quepos. A 4X4 is necessary to reach the property as it's high up in the jungle, about a kilometre from the coast, but close to the gorgeous local beaches and other local amenities. The bus is split into a "living area" with a well appointed kitchen equipped with everything one could possibly need and a "sleeping area" with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. The planning and execution of the conversion were obviously meticulous as all available space has been used to create a unique little house with more than enough space for two. There is a lovely balcony surrounding the bus that has views into the jungle and the beautiful garden that the hosts have planted. A wonderful space to sit, relax, eat and enjoy the diverse wildlife. Negative: Another sign directing one to the bus could be helpful but the hosts are always available to help you with anything you need.

Positive: We were lucky to book this unique bus-home at the last minute! Nestled in the jungle, the place is absolutely beautiful—clean, well-decorated, and surrounded by nature. The outdoor shower with hot water was a special touch, and the kitchen had everything we needed. After driving for three hours through a storm, we arrived late at night, exhausted and unable to find food. To our surprise, the host greeted us at 10 PM with a box of spaghetti and pesto sauce—such a thoughtful gesture! Waking up to the sounds of singing birds and the peaceful jungle was pure magic. Highly recommend this one-of-a-kind experience!
